The whole world will be watching China for this summer's Olympic Games, and the controversy has already begun. Wild Animals explores another period of conflict in China's recent history: the life of China's youth during the Cultural Revolution. It wasn't exactly fun and games. Still, that's no excuse for the detached behavior of Xiao Jun. Violent, insulting, a fighter he really doesn't know how to behave, either with his pals or around women. Make them suffer? Love them?
